some awesome police stupidity here — handcuff the guy with the camera, of course, that is the only reasonable thing to do, after all, he was filming in a public place which is a serious offence, no time for talking, the public is at risk.
apologies to jore for inadvertently making him the subject of idiotic ‘policing’ — certainly made me rethink the safety of the people who are good enough to come along and film.
the police threatened to charge everyone with a camera in some stupid attempt to rationalise their stupid false arrest — they ended up not pressing charges of course — i think the threat of charges was also intended to silence any attempt at complaint.
fortunately jore has been excellent at complaining and hasn’t stopped yet, hopefully the whole thing ends up in court.
