these pictures are of some billboards i painted early in my illustrious career.

i got a couple of big tins of mis-tints (fuck ups from the paint shop that they sell cheap) and the sticker on top of the tin said the colour was ‘razzle dazzle’, which i found amusing enough to remember.

the first two photos are of a set of billboards were around the corner from my home at the time, where dawson street turns into melville road in brunswick west — they are gone now and have been replaced by apartments.

i obviously didn’t think to paint over tram stop shelter ads at that stage.

the second two photos are of a set on flemmington rd., north melbourne i think, corner of hawker street or something.

the last two photos are of a billboard on the corner of smith and gertrude in fitrzroy (but also projecting into collingwood).

you can see my ute and high visibility vest which was part of my workman/boy shtick back then.

i don’t know when this was but i reckon i was about 21 or 22 and i turn 27 in october so you can figure it out if you really care, which i advise you against.
